Upside-down L position
The upside-down L position is a fairly uncommon spanking position in which the spankee goes "over the edge" of an item of furniture such as a bed, couch or armchair, such that their legs are (nearly) horizontal and their entire torso, and head, is lower than their legs. Alternatively, they can go "all the way over" the spanker's lap in a similar fashion. Their legs may have to be held in this position to stabilize it.
In this position, their bottom is well presented to be spanked from above, especially on the sit spot. The spankee's weight rests partly on their thigh tops, and partly on their hands or elbows. No weight is on the stomach area. In a way, it is an upside-down version of the half-standing position.
A disadvantage of the position is that blood will rush into the head, so it is unsuitable for any except very short spankings.

Variants[edit]
Variants in which the legs are less horizontal, where the thighs and torso form an "A" are known as jackknife positions.
Further variants are the bongo, reverse bongo, handstand, kneeling, lying and knee-chest position.
In mere bent-over positions, the bottom can also higher than the torso and head, but with the legs more or less vertical, the bottom must be spanked from the side rather than from the top.
