Standing on one leg
Standing on one leg is a common punishment of children in school and at home in some regions. The difficulties balancing on one leg makes the stance a stress position. There are a lot of variants, like: standing in a corner, hands held out, hands on head, holding a book or water vessel, or with one elbow on the knee and a single finger held on the chin (see photo link below).
