The kneeling-before-a-lap position is a spanking position in which the spankee is kneeling before a seated person's lap. It is a special case of kneeling position.

The spankee kneels and places their upper body either on the lap, or over one of the seated person's thighs. The seated person can either be the spanker or an assisting person, and can hold the spankee in place during the punishment. The position works only for a spankee that is not too small.

The frontal over-the-lap position, over-one-knee position and over-the-knee position are similar, but without kneeling.
