Łopatka do naleśników is a wooden kitchen tool used in Polish cooking for turning and folding thin crêpe-like pancakes, which are known as naleśnik in Polish.

These items are shaped like a small spanking paddle (and can also be used like that). Their shape is more like a spanking paddle than a cooking spatula. Their length is typically 24 to 30 cm (9.4 to 12″) including the handle, and their width is 4 to 6 cm (1.6 to 2.4″). The top is rounded. Towards the sides, the board thins out like a blunt blade to allow it to glide easily under the pancake.

Lopatka do nalesników are thin and lightweight and thus are not too painful when used for spanking. They do not bruise much unlike heavier paddles, but are stingy and can make a nice redness when used on a bare bottom.
