Rename Article & Category[edit]

On our Wiki an equipment or utensil that is used to acomplish corporal punishment quicker or better, is called an implement, instrument or tool. As we are an encyclopedia for special interest, I suggest to group all these "helping hands" provided by a toolmaker into one category: tool. Reason: uniform a mixture of the same. There are three reasons why I'd personally prefer the currently used terms "implement"/"spanking implement": a) within the spanking/BDSM subculture everyone may immediately think of spanking implements when they read "tool", but we can't go wrong if we use the term that is understood by most of the population. b) there may not be common agreement because the subculture is big and diverse, globally - you may call it a "tool" but another may call it a "toy", for example. c) the term "tool" can be useful for us as a general term too; in future we may have articles on tools which are not spanking implements. For example on software tools such as utilities for image or video editing. Spankart 19:13, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
