Trying to add/create a new page for Lujaine (artist)[edit]

I tried unsuccessfully to set this up with the details as follows:

Lujaine first posted artwork on AnimeOTK website in December 2007 and the last entry was in August 2017. It is not known for certain where Lujaine is based but it is possibly Canada. His/her images are quite crudely drawn often in the form of a cartoon-style storyboard. Mostly they depict F/F spankings usually using hand or paddle, and the figures are shown as outline form with little colour, other than red, used in any of these images.

Can you please add this for me or give me the relevant permissions to do it myself.

Thanks, Greystrokes

Hello Greystrokes, sorry, I didn't see your message until now. You don't need any special permissions to add a new page in the wiki, so I don't know what your issue was. Did you get any error message, or a blank page? Anyway, I added your contents to Lujaine. --Spankart (talk) 16:04, 31 December 2018 (UTC)

wondering what happened to Simon Kirby[edit]

http://spankingart.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/SimonKirby shows no edits since 2013. Had flashbacks to Glory Bee and parodying how old comics used to have spanking.

More broadly though it also parodied how old comics had panty shots. Was reminded this in a posting of vintage comics and was wondering if you knew of any remaining efforts to chronicle non-spanking vintage bloomer shots?

There used to be Pantsu.Wikia (can't remember if I founded it or not, maybe just edited) but that's long-gone since Wikia became Fandom and purged lots of fun stuff like hat, Anime Feet and Anime Baths.

I had tried to do an "Anime Slaps" years prior for non-spanking slapping but apparently cute girls slapping men in the face is somehow sexual too so they banned it. Ty 05:59, 16 June 2019 (UTC)

Hi Ty, sorry I don'k know what happend to Gauis Marius aka Simon Kirby, but he has an account on Pixiv under the name Kogal where he was last active in 2017 or so. --Spankart (talk) 13:11, 21 June 2019 (UTC)

Add family tree[edit]

Hi Spankart. I made a family tree to my story "My brother Johan and me" on request from readers. How would I upload it in the article? I'm still not good at this... :p --Qqll (talk) 10:56, 23 June 2019 (UTC)

You do it via Upload file. Which file format did make it as? —  Roguebfl   talk    contribs    email   11:56, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
Managed to do it I think. Thank you :-) --Qqll (talk) 07:25, 29 June 2019 (UTC)
No problem —  Roguebfl   talk    contribs    email   07:47, 30 June 2019 (UTC)
Sorry Qqll, I couldn't reply as I was offline for a while. Now I'm back. --Spankart (talk) 20:08, 22 July 2019 (UTC)

Removing artist page (SuperSchtroumpf)[edit]

I'm new on this site, but you might not me under the name Spanko. I have an account on AnimeOTK with several artworks. I used to go by the artist name of SuperSchtroumpf and there is a page dedicated to me on this site. As it's been a while now since I went on Hiatus, I would like all the information on this site regarding SuperSchtroumpf to be deleted permanently, especially the external links that refer to other people I am not related to. I tried to delete it myself once, but everything is back online now...

I hope to hear from you soon :)

Since the wiki is a spanking art encyclopedia, it's our job to collect all spanking art related information that is already widely known. This includes that this artist ever existed and that he used these pen names for his published artwork. Your art was published and was of high quality, so your encyclopedic relevance will never fade. Blanking a page here is an act of vandalism, and it's technically possible but would make little sense to completely delete the page -- a missing page in the wiki about a relevant artist is an invitation to (re)create a new article about you. So instead I reduced the page to a kind of minimum and hope that's an acceptable solution for you. --Spankart (talk) 12:01, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

Timely video releases[edit]

Incredibly, March saw the release of the first two virus-related videos. Perhaps these should be mentioned on the home page (Did You Know or a video of the month section). -- Jameslovebirch (talk) 13:32, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

  • Punished For Not Wearing Her Mask At School (RealSpankings Institute, 2020), photos, more photos
  • Punished For Not Wearing Her Mask During PE (RealSpankings Institute, 2020), photos, more photos
Thanks, done! I put it in the "Picture of the month" section. --Spankart (talk) 11:37, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

Below are 6 more new titles in this sub-genre:

  • Lilith Is Caught With No Mask And No Bra (RealSpankings Institute, 2020), photos
  • Cara's 3 Part Punishment (RealSpankings Institute, 2020), Cara Day, photos

-- Jameslovebirch (talk) 14:58, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

Thanks! I started a wiki page COVID-19 in spanking art and videos on this topic now. Please add more material there if you come across more. And I moved it on the Main Page to the "Did you know" section". --Spankart (talk) 15:49, 15 April 2020 (UTC)

Looking for the F/m drawing gallery[edit]

Hello Spankart, I am Flatt andI just uploaded some illustrations but now, I cannot find back the link to all the F/m illustrations (about 280) ... Can you remind me the url for this page ?

Kind regards from Dct. Flatt

Hello Flatt, you're probably looking for Category:F/m? --Spankart (talk) 12:38, 19 July 2020 (UTC)

Cannot post anything to any pages[edit]

When I try to edit a page, I get a notice in Dutch about HTML-5, Flash, and Spam. It is not possible to edit anything. Too bad because I could improve several pages on this wiki. It seems like only a couple pages are protected in this way. Some I can edit, some I can't. What kind of primitive non-working spam filter is in use here? ---Sett (talk) 10:07, 4 November 2020 (UTC)

Which pages are those that give you troubles? My guess is that an external link on the page is on a domain that is blacklisted as known for spam. Could it be that? Are you trying to add an external link, or is it a page with existing external links? --Spankart (talk) 15:50, 4 November 2020 (UTC)

This problem has been resolved. Thank you Spankart. Mainly, I wanted to revise the MMSA stats. I may think of something else later. --Sett (talk) 07:31, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

Ok, thanks for the update. --Spankart (talk) 10:58, 19 April 2021 (UTC)

Spam filter problem[edit]

Can't save a link to a video if it's on xHampster. Got this error message below saying it's "blacklisted". This does not happen with any other adult site I've linked to.

Error: The text you wanted to save was blocked by the spam filter. This is probably caused by a link to a blacklisted external site. The following text is what triggered our spam filter: xhamster.com

- Jameslovebirch (talk) 22:03, 30 January 2021 (UTC)

This must be one of the standard spam filters that come with this wiki software. I added xhamster.com to our MediaWiki:Spam-whitelist. Can you please retry? --Spankart (talk) 14:10, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

Vandalism (August 2021)[edit]

Someone appears to have edited and/or hacked a great number of pages with a disturbing image collage featuring depictions of body horror and other gross imagery. The link embeds don't seem to be removable on the user end, however I was able to replace the image with a placeholder so at least it's not as grotesque. --AilaGrant (talk) 05:55, 23 August 2021 (UTC)

It looks like the user made additional edits to the pages they vandalized due to not formatting their original vandalism the way they wanted, which also ended up making the process of reverting the changes more difficult, but I went through and undid all the changes in reverse chronological order and that appears to have done the trick. A huge thank you to AilaGrant for substituting that image out. Staring at that image over and over while trying to figure out how to undo it would truly have been painful. Also, the new user that vandalized it appears to have been logged out for one of their edits, so their IP Address was listed on one of their edits on the [Information Template].Samaritan (talk) 12:56, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
Thank you very much, AilaGrant, for your notification and the image replacement, and Samaritan, for rolling back the vandalist's edits. I was on vacation, so I didn't check the site until today. I deleted the image and blocked both the user (User:HahaLulz) and their IP address. --Spankart (talk) 12:03, 30 August 2021 (UTC)

It might be a good idea to restrict who can edit any of the template pages so that a troll can't shut down the whole site by just vandalizing the templates again. Samaritan (talk) 12:56, 24 August 2021 (UTC)

Yes. It is possible in MediaWiki to restrict editing of an entire namespace (like the Template: namespace), but to do that we'd need full access to the wiki configuration. This has only our technical host -- who has been unreachable by e-mail for years, and I have no other contact for him. I could theoretically protect every individual template page manually, but we have more than 500 such pages, so that would take very long. This type of template vandalism has been the first in years, so I'd rather wait to see if the problem becomes excessive at some point. --Spankart (talk) 12:03, 30 August 2021 (UTC)

Server error problems[edit]

Been having problems saving changes all day yesterday and today. Keep getting the same "Host Error 520" and "issue between Cloudfare's cache and origin web server" message. Have to go back and forth reloading the page many times before it finally saves the change. -- Jameslovebirch (talk) 16:28, 1 September 2021 (UTC)

Sorry to hear about that, Jameslovebirch. As our host is unreachable, there's nothing we can do in such cases but wait. We've had similar sporadic server issues for years. It is usually better after a day or two. --Spankart (talk) 10:47, 16 September 2021 (UTC)

Hi Spankart[edit]

drop-down menu.

Hi Spankart, long time no see. I'm working on a new wiki and was hoping you could give me some technical advice.

Can you tell me how to add licensing options to the dropdown menu in the image upload function? I'd like users to be able to automatically choose from various CC licenses when they upload an image to the wiki.

Any advice you could provide on this subject would be greatly appreciated. TheFirecat (talk) 01:48, 12 September 2021 (UTC)

Hello TheFirecat. Are you using MediaWiki? Then you can configure these licensing options on the page "MediaWiki:Licenses", like in this wiki on MediaWiki:Licenses. For more information, see this manual. --Spankart (talk) 10:44, 16 September 2021 (UTC)

Create New Page[edit]

Hi. I'm trying to figure out how to create a new author page for myself, as I am an author of spanking fiction. However, whenever I click "create", it only allows me to create a new page for "User:AuthorJJRose". How do I create an actual page on the wiki? Thanks!

Hi, the usual way to create a new page is first to create a new link that points to the page you want to create -- for example, for an author of spanking fiction, on List of spanking authors -- and then you can click that link to create the new page. Or just click on this link -> AuthorJJRose <- if that is the correct spelling of the page you want to create. --Spankart (talk) 07:03, 12 November 2021 (UTC)

Missing text on multiple pages[edit]

For some unknown reason, the text has been deleted from various pages and attempts to restore it (copy-and-paste from the site history log) causes an error that won't save. Among these blank pages are True Grit, Yasmin Garcia, Miss Brown, Christie Goddard, Teresa May, and Jadie Reece, but there are others. Please fix these pages. -- Jameslovebirch (talk) 18:50, 16 November 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know. It's a known issue, see the "News" section on our Main Page (12 March 2021). I will delete these broken pages and restore the last saved version from the history if there is one. Please let me know about any further broken pages you come across. --Spankart (talk) 11:23, 23 November 2021 (UTC)
Pages deleted and restored. --Spankart (talk) 10:55, 24 November 2021 (UTC)

Changing File Name[edit]

The picture I just uploaded has a typo in the filename. Instead of "Wolfhearst Holiday Tradition" it should be "Wolfheart Holiday Tradition." How do I change it?

This can be done with the "move" button on the page File:Wolfhearst_Holiday_Tradition.jpg. I moved the file to the new name. --Spankart (talk) 16:16, 13 December 2021 (UTC)

Another spam filter problem[edit]

Tried to copy and paste the listing for the video (with attached SpankBang video link) of "Spanking Room 1" (from the China page) to another page and got this error message:

Error: The text you wanted to save was blocked by the spam filter. This is probably caused by a link to a blacklisted external site. The following text is what triggered our spam filter: spankbang.com

Please unblock this function.

-- Jameslovebirch (talk) 16:18, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

I added spankbang.com to MediaWiki:Spam-whitelist. It should work now. --Spankart (talk) 09:58, 7 January 2022 (UTC)

Certain Spanking Clips[edit]

Hello Spankart

I got to say I really love this wiki and it is one of my favorites. Thank you so much for the content. This is a question through. I been trying to look for spanking videos(from movies and TV shows, not porn videos) in which the spankee's skirt(or dress) gets lifted up and showing their panties before getting spanked. I tried searching everywhere, but those clips are so hard to find(i would have been easier in the early 2000's). Do you have any suggestions on where i could find such clips?

Hello Spankingguy, glad you find this wiki useful. I'm no expert on the subject, so all I can say is what you're looking for might be found in Spanking in mainstream films and Spanking on television. You can go through the films and shows listed there, and try the Links listed on Spanking in mainstream films#Links. You could also try posting your question on the talk pages of these two articles. Otherwise perhaps try web forums on the subject (see Spanking web forums and groups) -- I can't recommend any forum/group in particular though. Finally, possibly Handprince might be able to give better advice -- his site Handprints is not really about film clips, but he might perhaps remember such a scene from somewere. Good luck! --Spankart (talk) 13:31, 24 January 2022 (UTC)

Problem creating user pager[edit]

Hi! I am Amlensky - amateur spanking artist from Estonia currently living in EU. I like F/M, F/F, and M/F, but create mostly F/M pictures. I uploaded my work here (could not edit the license box though). But when I tried to create my user page I get Error message every time. Amlensky (talk) 13:15, 15 February 2022 (UTC)

Hello Amlensky, and welcome to the wiki. If you can let me know which license you're sharing File:12court.jpg under, I can add the license box for you. As to your other problem, what did the error message say? --Spankart (talk) 16:12, 15 February 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for your kind help. As to license, I can't understand what all that achronims actually mean. I'd like this picture to be used by this wiki as well as other websites completely free and without any additional permissions. Please add the proper license for this and I'll memorize what type of license it is. As to the error, it doesn't specify what problem it is. Just says ERROR. Thank you once more. Amlensky (talk) 17:00, 15 February 2022 (UTC)

In principle all of the licenses we allow in this wiki do this, so I selected "Creative Commons CC-BY-SA 4.0" which is a popular choice. As to your error: offhand I have no idea what it could be. The page you are trying to create is User:Amlensky? Do you get the same error when you try to create User talk:Amlensky? Have you tried if it's the same when you use a different browser? --Spankart (talk) 16:13, 16 February 2022 (UTC)

Hello Amlensky, I now started an article about you at Amlensky. Please feel free to add to it. --Spankart (talk) 16:07, 13 April 2022 (UTC)

User:Kingofspades[edit]

How can I delete my account? Kingofspades (talk) 13:39, 16 April 2022 (UTC)

User accounts can't be deleted. If you no longer want to use the account Kingofspades, just log out and don't log in again under this account name. You can create a new account anytime if you wish to take on a new identity. --Spankart (talk) 09:05, 27 April 2022 (UTC)

Updates[edit]

You have installed MediaWiki 1.35.0. May you consider a little security update to MediaWiki 1.35.8? --Issue fixer (talk) 17:08, 18 October 2022 (UTC)

I am not this wiki's technical administrator, I am just a user in the Admins group, so I can delete pages, files, block users, and such things. But I can not upgrade or change anything about our MediaWiki installation. We get this ad-free wiki hosting for free, which is great, but our technical administrator has been unreachable for years, which bothers me quite a bit. I can't contact him and ask him about anything. From time to time he updates MediaWiki, but without informing us, and sometimes these updates break existing wiki features or damage wiki pages. :( --Spankart (talk) 14:35, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
I have no idea who is the one, the responsible guy here. But perhaps you could raise the issue at the appropriate place!!?
"unreachable"? "for years"?!?? That does not sound good. What about backups?
MediaWiki 1.35.0, this is September 2020!!! Long,, long time ago. :-( --Issue fixer (talk) 18:51, 21 October 2022 (UTC)

Backups[edit]

What about backups?--Issue fixer (talk) 21:56, 23 October 2022 (UTC)

Backups are another thing that bothers me quite a bit. I dont't know if our host still makes any backups regularly. In a disaster scenario, this wiki will be gone and I can't restore it. :( --Spankart (talk) 19:40, 22 October 2022 (UTC)
Oh, oh, oh, that doesn't sound good at all. :-( But doing nothing is not a solution, is it?
I'm afraid you'll have to get your own web space and then transfer article by article, image by image to your own database. That makes shitloads of work, but once the server is gone (bill not paid or whatever the hell may happen), then everything is gone and you'll be annoyed as hell.--Issue fixer (talk) 12:19, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
OK, I have Backups of DB, so I do not use it. But have a look at Special:Export and Manual:Parameters to Special:Export. You will not get everything, so as user tables, settings and other things. But it will be better than noting.--Issue fixer (talk) 21:56, 23 October 2022 (UTC)

Hosting[edit]

If this hosting ever ends, we will need to find a new host, but I'm not going to host it myself. As to disaster scenarios, we have a certain minimum of safety as our host provides public backups for download. I have saved the latest, which is a wiki page backup from Sept 2021 and a wiki images backup from Feb 2022. One-year-old backups are far from ideal, but it's better than nothing. As to Special:Export, I used it years ago to manually backup the latest wiki pages -- see Spanking Art:Backing up -- but stopped after while. In the coming up days, I will take a look at the Parameters to Special:Export to see how I can improve on our backup measures. Thanks for drawing my attention again to the important subject! --Spankart (talk) 22:13, 23 October 2022 (UTC)

Surprise! ;-) --Issue fixer (talk) 05:24, 24 October 2022 (UTC)
Surprise: look here and here. ;-) --Issue fixer (talk) 14:46, 28 October 2022 (UTC)

Wikia[edit]

What about the red links in section "See also" in Wikia?--Issue fixer (talk) 13:55, 5 June 2022 (UTC)

Ah, thanks for finding that! For one thing, our interwiki map seems to have lost its entry "Wikia". But on a closer look, I discovered that Wika is now called Fandom. So I moved the whole page to Fandom (wiki hoster) and fixed the relevant links without using the interwiki feature. --Spankart (talk) 16:24, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
Acknowledge!--Issue fixer (talk) 13:27, 8 June 2022 (UTC)

Mother Nature[edit]

Ben Garrison: "Don't Mess With Mother Nature"

Spanking Mother Nature.

Mother Nature is not human and not alien… ;-) --Issue fixer (talk) 16:49, 26 May 2022 (UTC)

Is this something you want to put in a new article Mother Nature? Feel free to do so, or do you need any help with that? --Spankart (talk) 15:39, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
This parody comic of Greta Thunberg was deleted from Ben Garrison's page 3 years ago -- and possibly other pages as well -- most likely for copyright reasons. If we have permission to use it, this should go on the "Caricature", "Spanking parody" and "Spanking in political satire and propaganda" pages. -- Jameslovebirch (talk) 16:23, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
"grrrgraphics.com" is Ben Garrison's own page and obviously the picture is not deleted there.--Issue fixer (talk) 12:13, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
@Spankart: The cartoon is funny and worth mentioning. I refer to the fact that you have the category Aliens and wondered if "Mother Nature" fits into that category.
For copyright reasons, you could limit yourself to a description and a link to Garrison's page or work with a greatly reduced thumbnail.--Issue fixer (talk) 12:13, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
I didn't found Spanking in political satire and propaganda yet and it seems to me a good place. ;-) --Issue fixer (talk) 12:14, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
Yes, I think it fits. I added a sentence there. --Spankart (talk) 14:48, 7 June 2022 (UTC)

SM-201[edit]

Regarding Robin Roberts. Roberts was close to death. He lost everything: all his possessions, his apartment, his money, his health, everything. The army saved him. (The army has its own welfare programmes for ex-servicemen). The SM-201 wiki was gone too.

Since September 2019, he is working to rebuild the wiki from scratch. Born in August 1941, he is now 80 years old. It would be time to contact him and talk about the future of his project. His collection of material includes much more than Spanking Art Wiki. It would be worth preserving beyond his death.--Issue fixer (talk) 14:06, 7 June 2022 (UTC)

Thanks for this info. SM-201 is highly questionable as a wiki built on stealing contents from other wikis, and my impression of Robin Roberts is that he neither understands nor cares about copyright and copyleft. Probably all contents of his wiki is either a copyright violation or of unclear license status. If you find anything on SM-201 that is clearly not a copyright violation, clearly under a proper and compatible copyleft license, and would be useful contents for the spanking art wiki, please let me know and we can discuss steps to duplicate these contents here, in a license-compatible way, protecting them from potential future loss. --Spankart (talk) 15:04, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
Robin Roberts is an old man. I guess you are right that he neither understands nor cares about copyright and copyleft. But a stated here:
  • "He is considered to be 'the father of Het BDSM' in the Bay Area", says Jay Wiseman, author of SM-101."
  • "He is one of the prime movers in the BDSM community. In the past 40 years, he has trained over 1000 professional Mistresses."
He has great knowledge of BDSM and kink, having been there "from the beginning" so to speak, and has knowledge that is already lost elsewhere. This must be preserved, regardless of what it has to do with the copyrights.
You can't teach an old dog new tricks. So I think you have to give Roberts credit for the copyrights. Nevertheless, one should think about how to deal with his estate.
In an e-mail contact he emphasized that he wanted to work until the end of his life to collect the knowledge about this complex of topics as comprehensively as possible and to preserve it for posterity.
These are my (irrelevant) thoughts on the matter.--Issue fixer (talk) 15:13, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
I appreciate your worry. And I agree, it's quite possible that SM-201 might go down one day, unless Roberts takes the right steps to preserve it. What he could have done is to purge his site from all copyright violations, making it easy for others to see which of the contents are original and which are duplicates from other wikis, and to mirror the contents, with all the proper credit and license information, on another site (or wiki) with confidence in doing so legally. Or alternatively, he could try to find a mirror/backup site that cares about copyright as little as he does (or did) and is willing to take the high legal risks that come with it. But I don't see how we could help with SM-201 as it is. However, what you wrote about Robin Roberts as a person is very interesting, would you like to start an article about him? --Spankart (talk) 15:57, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
I'm afraid the copyright issues will have to be addressed by his successor. I don't think Roberts will be able to do this in his lifetime.
The reason I bring this up in the first place is that when I asked, Roberts indicated that he did not have a successor. So with his advancing age, the project is in serious jeopardy.
And redarding to writing an article about Robin Roberts: No. I am not very proficient in English and as a German I use automatic translation aids on the Internet. I can "fix (technical) issues", but I cannot write articles in English.--Issue fixer (talk) 13:27, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
PD: Here you find info about him: http://www.sm-201.org/a/Robin_Roberts_-_Resume
PDD: If I may make a suggestion:: Write to Robin Roberts and ask him for a writing account on his wiki and offer to handle the copyright issues by yourself. I reported issues to him a few months ago and he responded and answered me.--Issue fixer (talk) 13:58, 10 June 2022 (UTC)

Interesting images[edit]

Yes, these are by Bernard Montorgueil, I think. --Spankart (talk) 20:29, 22 June 2022 (UTC)

Regarding Mommy/boy and Daddy/girl:

What do you think about: these icons? --Issue fixer (talk) 21:31, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
They're not bad. The colour system is easily understood. --Spankart (talk) 19:47, 22 October 2022 (UTC)
"not bad"... come on! In US everything is GREAT! Is that so or not?--Issue fixer (talk) 12:01, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
I find the universe exciting. Stars, planets, moons. And many other things such as biological life, history, architecture, art, food, the Internet. But icons that express concepts, well, even when well-designed, somehow don't get me that excited. :) --Spankart (talk) 22:33, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
You are absolutely right! ;-) --Issue fixer (talk) 23:07, 23 October 2022 (UTC)

Spam filter problem[edit]

Tried to save a link to a Clare Fonda video (Getting Fired and Forced to Strip) from an obscure website and was blocked. Got this error message:

  • Error: The text you wanted to save was blocked by the spam filter. This is probably caused by a link to a blacklisted external site. The following text is what triggered our spam filter: eporner.com
  • Also got another no-save error message from another porn site: Error: The text you wanted to save was blocked by the spam filter. This is probably caused by a link to a blacklisted external site. The following text is what triggered our spam filter: youjizz.com

Sorry for my late reply, Jameslovebirch. I somehow didn't see this message until today. I added eporner.com and youjizz.com to our MediaWiki:Spam-whitelist. Can you please try again if it works now? --Spankart (talk) 14:45, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
Thanks, that solved the problem. -- Jameslovebirch (talk) 15:01, 26 October 2022 (UTC)

Spam attacks[edit]

Considering the massive flood of spam pages and fake user accounts being created every day, I would suggest suspending the feature that allows new page creation for a few weeks, so these idiots give up and go away. -- Jameslovebirch (talk) 15:49, 12 August 2022 (UTC)

Hi Jameslovebirch. I'm back from vacation and can now start to clean up all this spam. Unfortunately only our host can administer the wiki, and our host has been unreachable for many years. As a user in the "admin" group, my possibilities are limited to blocking users and deleting pages. That is tedious work and will not stop the spam from coming in, but that's all I can do, I'm afraid. --Spankart (talk) 12:06, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
I found one more thing I can do, with the extension AbuseFilter, see Manual:Combating spam/AbuseFilter examples. I just installed such an abuse filter. Now let's see if this is helpful against these spam attacks. --Spankart (talk) 13:12, 24 August 2022 (UTC)

Punishment position category[edit]

Just posted a new photo by Asa Jones to the "School CP in erotic spanking art" page of a schoolgirl holding a bell. This is similar to the Rosaleen Young video The Bell (photos). Apparently, UK (and possibly other) schools had students stand or stoop holding an old-fashioned school bell and got (more) punishment if it rang. Could find no post-punishment practices page (Corner Time came closest) so, not sure where or how to list this bit of school-related information.

Jameslovebirch (talk) 17:32, 28 September 2022 (UTC)

Interesting. I hadn't known about this bell technique, although it reminds me of similar disciplinary techniques from East Asia, perhaps Japan, where a student is made to stand perfectly still for punishment. Did you find any other references to the bell technique on the Internet, or in books? We have no page on post-punishment practices, but the technique is a punishment in itself, so it should go into Category:Types of punishment and in the line "Other school punishments" on Template:NavSchool. Would you like to start a wiki page about it? It could be somewhat similar to Standing on one leg, Nose to the wall, etc. What lemma would you suggest? Bell punishment, Holding a bell or Standing and holding a bell, perhaps? Or perhaps a more general page Standing still for punishment, that would serve as a superset of corner time and all the other variants of the same basic concept? --Spankart (talk) 10:11, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
Could find no other information online (maybe Asa Jones would know). For starters, added this reference to the Classroom and Holding still pages. Also, the school spanking video page is only about YouTube, with just two entries. School-related fetish videos is a huge category in itself and should have its own page. -- Jameslovebirch (talk) 19:03, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
