Tickles was a simple spanking doll manufactured in 1963 by Deluxe Reading Corporation. The package shows a photo of a girl with the doll, and below two illustrations of the two functions built into the doll: "SPANK her — she CRIES!" and "TICKLE her — she LAUGHS!". On the package, the doll's crying is "Boo Hoo Mommy" and the illustration shows a girl spanking the doll in the classic over-the-knee position.
Tickles is 19 inches tall, blonde, and wears a green dress. The doll's crying and laughing operates on a D size battery.
