The Secret Sex Lives of Romeo and Juliet
The Secret Sex Lives of Romeo and Juliet is a 1969 softcore sexploitation film written by Jim Schumacher and produced by Harry Novak, based very loosely on the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.
The film intermingles a wide variety of comedic ploys with exaggerated sex scenes, spoofing the style of the television show Laugh In and cutting up with Henny Youngman style jokes and blackouts. It can be seen as a parody of various genres.
The movie is available from Something Weird Video on a DVD with The Notorious Cleopatra.
The whipping scene
In one scene, a kitchen maid is chained up nude in a dungeon and is lashed across her back and buttocks (M/F) to make her confess what she did to Lady Capulet's two silken scarves. She pleads innocent and her whipping continues for a while, until her three male tormentors decide it's time to have sexual fun with her, to which she, unchained, willingly agrees.
