Talk:London Enterprises

From Spanking Art

There seems to be a connection or confusion between London Enterprises and Shadow Lane: was the magazine Spank Hard published by London Enterprises or Shadow Lane? --Spankart (talk) 21:41, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

No confusion at all. As it says on the Spanking magazine page, Spank Hard was published by London Enterprises Ltd. It was edited by Lizzie Bennett, aka Eve Howard of Shadow Lane from 1985 to the early-mid 90s. Her editorials mention upcoming Shadow Lane events and another mag, Stand Corrected so, the magazine was not totally devoted to just promoting London. -- Jameslovebirch 13:39, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
Yes, and Tony Elka from Shadow Lane confirmed that Shadow Lane did not publish Spank Hard: "The magazine "Spank Hard" was published by Lyndon Ltd. (aka London Enterprises)." To explain, my confusion arose from this announcement: "Shadow Lane's first publication in ten years heralds our reentry into the world of spanking magazines. In the 1980's, Shadow Lane was the driving force behind the enormously popular Spank Hard; in the 1990's, we reinvented the corporal punishment publication genre with the artistically designed, editorially substantial Stand Corrected." I misunderstood "was the driving force behind". --Spankart (talk) 18:09, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
