Talk:Corporal punishment

From Spanking Art

"modern game theory shows that without revenge it is impossible to maintain any society, let alone a just society." I should like a citation for this statement. it does not corepond to anythign that I know about game theory, or its findings, and while I am not an expert, I do know a fair amout about this subject. -Mercy (talk) 21:00, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

Just go ahead and delete or change whatever you feel is wrong, or feel free revert to my initial version in the history. mariamechant has stopped her activities here after 3 days, so it's unlikely she's still here to explain or defend what she wrote. --Spankart 23:03, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
I have done so. -Mercy (talk) 23:36, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

Literal meaning[edit]

The reason the Literal meaning is important as it explains why in the next paragraph it does not include the infliction of psychological pain and discomfort. it also explains why capital punishment is technically a type of corporal punishment even though it normally treated separately. —  Roguebfl   talk    contribs    email   09:34, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
