Peeples

From Spanking Art

Peeples (2013) is an American romantic comedy film written and directed by Tina Gordon Chism. The cast includes Craig Robinson, Kerry Washington, and David Alan Grier.

Synopsis[edit]

The story is essentially the same as Meet the Parents (2000) remade with an all-black cast. Perennial ne'er do well Wade Walker (Craig Robinson) makes a surprise visit to the stately family home of his fiancee, Grace Peeples (Kerry Washington) in Sag Harbor, New York. (Wade refers to the wealthy Peeples family as "The chocolate Kennedys".) After arriving at the house, he repeatedly clashes with Grace's intimidating father Virgil (David Alan Grier) in a series of socially awkward comedic incidents.

The spanking scene[edit]

Grace, with her hair in pigtails, puts on her old prep school uniform (high white socks, short plaid skirt, white blouse with school insignia patch) and engages in roleplay as a schoolgirl to seduce Wade. She repeatedly insists she's been a "bad girl" in need of punishment and taunts him by holding a wooden ruler in her teeth. Pretending to be a principal, Wade pulls her over his knee and vigorously spanks her about a dozen times with the ruler. Grace squeals with sexual excitement and kicks her legs. As this is going on, Virgil looks in through the window and is shocked by what he sees and runs away.

For a mainstream, PG-13 rated film, this is an exceptionally realistic and well-developed scene of consensual spanking. Although used to set up a comedic pay-off (Virgil's reaction), it is also a rare depiction of kinky roleplay as a relatively normal activity.
