Paul Marie Lapierre-Renouard (1854 - 1940) was a French artist who painted "La Fessée" (The Spanking), an oil painting that shows a woman spanking a boy's bare bottom. See also Fessée for more on this French term.
The painting was discovered in Pleaux, Auvergne, France, and a photograph of it was uploaded to Flickr by a user named kiknok on July 30, 2007.
