[edit] Contents

The magazine contains original illustrated spanking stories and "Letters to The Editor". Paddles features F/M, M/F, and F/F content. "Most of our stories contain heaps of spanking and lots of sex, but it must be consensual" (Michael in 2003).

Leonardo was the first regular artist who was commissioned to illustrate stories and cartoons for Paddles. Lee took over some years ago when Leonardo retired. Many examples of Lee's work can be seen in different places on the Paddles site. Freelance illustrator Alan Lawrence also worked for the magazine for 8 years. The spanking story writer and artist Helier is also featured in the magazine.

[edit] The printed magazine

Paddles magazine was originally published in printed form only. The printed version goes back to at least 1995. The May 2006 issue was the 117th magazine produced to date. It is unclear whether the printed version is still being produced or not. A printed copy from 2008 is known to exist.

[edit] The online magazine

Paddles has also been published online since 1997. All issues since 1998 are still available online to current subscribers. From 1998 through 2004 Paddles was published on a monthly basis, switching to bi-monthly (January, March, May, July, September, and November) in 2005. The website seems to feature the editions from 1998 to 2004 only.

There are free samples issues available on the site, the online version in simple text and illustrations and the hard copies in PDF format. In addition, the site offers a free "Send a greeting card" using a selection of Leonardo's drawings; a personals service; DVDs for sale; links; 4 volumes of illustrated spanking stories; and Uncle Robert's spanking services for women.
