Nettles Corporation
Nettles Corporation (founded in 1993) is a Russian company that distributes corporal punishment spanking videos produced by Sia Saltamontes International, based in Riga, Latvia. Some titles also credit Foresthill Trading Ltd.
Nettles is best known for its long-running "Russian Slaves" series. These videos were also sold through their Russianslavestv website (which no longer exists). In 2005, a new series was introduced called Discipline in Russia, followed by two amateur-based subdivisions, Rough Man Club and Her First Punishment.
As of the 2020s, the company has been consolidated and relaunched under two brand names, each with a separate website: Russian Spanking and Rough Man Spank (formerly Rough Man Club). The website for Her First Punishment now redirects back to Russian Spanking. Some of the original Nettles videos dating back to the 1990s are still available on these sites. However, many have been repackaged and given new titles (see video list below).
Style and content[edit]
The videos are filmed in Russian with English subtitles added. However, most of the subtitles are poorly translated into broken English. The average length of each film is 40 minutes – most consist of two separate stories.
The corporal punishment is a mixture of M/F and F/F action that is generally quite severe. The Discipline in Russia series includes some harsh BDSM scenarios (as in the Klafelin series). In the majority of the Russian Slaves titles, two or more girls are tied to a wooden bench and thrashed with a cane or switch rod. The same room, bench, and props appear in countless titles. Most are domestic scenarios, some feature uniformed schoolgirls at home or in a classroom setting.
A number of titles are period-piece costume tales about rural Russian traditions (Country Tales, Serfdom) and incidents from history (Dispossession of the Kulaks series). Some of the later videos involve more complex stories about abduction, white slavery, and religious school punishments. There are also many segments filmed outdoors with girls being whipped or switched while tied to trees or the familiar bench.
The Rough Man Spank website features short audition videos with first-time amateurs (average length: 10 minutes.). Young female models are interviewed on camera and then are tied to a bench for a whipping, cropping or switching to test their endurance. A post-punishment interview is also sometimes included. The site has since expanded its content to include scripted features, some with a historical or fantasy theme.

In America, Raven Hill Studios has released many of these volumes under the title "Russian Spankings" (formerly "Tears from Russia"). Nu-West/Leda Productions has also released a few Russian Slaves/Rough Man titles as part of their "Discipline in Russia" series.
