Laurent Lebeau began drawing bizarre illustrations for the French erotic magazine Défi in 1993. In the same year he started working with Muire Reform Academy, a small publisher in Hereford, England, and drew several comics.
He started creating surrealist images with colored felt-tip markers and crayons, and had some first art exhibitions in 1994 and 1995, in Southampton (England), Brussels (Belgium) and Stuttgart (Germany). He began to work for adult magazines such as Versatile Fashion, (U.S.), Wanda (France), Dressing for Pleasure (England), Pleasure Bound (England), and Club Caprice (Germany).
In 1995, Laurent Lebeau opened the first femdom BDSM club "Xipha Club" in France and organized some parties between Nîmes and Annecy, where he also had some art exhibitions. In the same year he moved to San Diego, California, to work for Jennifer Brooks's spanking magazine Behind the Scene.
Lebeau moved to Los Angeles in 1996, where he lived for over a year, doing freelance work for various fetish publications. He had an exhibition in Palms Springs, California in 2000, one in New York City (La Nouvelle Justine), in Paddle Club, as well as in OWK. He started developing his party club Black Orchid Club between the U.S. and Europe, and to write short stories (Delicious Vengeance) and a colored comic The Dungeon.
