L'histoire très bonne et très joyeuse de Colinot Trousse-Chemise
L'Histoire très bonne et très joyeuse de Colinot Trousse-Chemise aka The Edifying and Joyous Story of Colinot (1973) is a French period-piece comedy directed by Nina Companeez. It stars Francis Huster, Natalie Delon, Muriel Catala, and Brigitte Bardot.
The episodic story, set in the Middle Ages, is primarily a series of sketches. Colinot (Huster) is a young man searching for his fiancee who has been abducted by three highway robbers. In the course of his search he meets a number of beautiful, seductive women such as Natalie Delon and Muriel Catala. Bardot, in her last film before retiring, plays a highborn lady who teaches him that "owning a woman's soul is a harder task than owning her body".
The spanking scene
During a love scene, Bardot and Huster are nude in a large bed. He abruptly grabs her, pulling her over his knee. He gives her five brisk hand-smacks. Bardot laughs during this then sits up and playfully slaps him across the face.
