4 January 2008: "La Fessée" (The Spanking), an oil painting by Paul Marie (French artist, 1854 - 1940).

5 March 2008: M/mm spanking drawing by Wilhelm Busch from the picture story Plisch und Plum (the protagonists Paul and Peter are caned by their tutor Herr Bokelmann). First published in 1882.
2 April 2008: The wooden paddle (with holes to reduce air resistance), the classic American spanking implement.
3 May 2008: Wall painting from the Tomba Della Fustigazione (Flogging Grave) in the necropolis of Tarquinia in Lazio, Italy. Painted in the 6th century BC, this may be the world's oldest known depiction of erotic flagellation (MM/F).
3 June 2008: Colored spanking drawing by JPC featuring three women, a martinet and the underarm position (2003).
